Here is a list of the condominiums that have a pet-policy. I have all but a few of the more obscure complexes. Pet policies vary from complex to complex and decisions always require board approval. If you look at each day’s Update, from time to time you will see listings for these complexes. Please let me know if a new listing interests you or if you have any questions. The condominium section of the update is clearly marked and always in the second section. This list was accurate and the time it was compiled. But complexes may vote to ban animals. Before making an offer I will check with the management company to make sure pets are still allowed. Mahalo, Harry

No livestock, poultry, rabbits, or other animals whatsoever shall be allowed or kept in any part of the project, except that small dogs, cats, fish and birds may be kept by occupants of apartmentssubject to the following conditions: a) prior written consent therefore is obtained from the Resident Manager and/or Board of Directors; b) such animals are confined to their respective apartments; c) animals shall not be kept, bred, or used therein for any commercial purpose; d) only one dog is allowed per unit; e) when on any common element, pets must be on a leash f) pet owners shall be responsible for cleaning up any waste or mess created by such animals on any common elements in the project; g) any animal causing a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance to any other occupancy of the project shall be permanently removed therefrom promptly upon notice given by the Board of Directors or the Resident Manager; provided that the apartment owner and occupant shall indemnify the Association and hold it harmless against any loss or liability of any kind or character whatsoever arising from or growing out of having any such pet or pets in the project.
